When it comes to heating, few of us would think of open fireplaces as a form of art – but a cleverly designed EcoSmart® Fire located in Lynn Malone's own apartment in The Pomeroy at Potts Point is stealing the limelight. In spite of the abundance of original artworks and designer furnishings surrounding it, Lynn says the EcoSmart® Fire intrigues guests as soon as they enter. "The EcoSmart® Firebox integrated in my lounge room joinery unit is a prominent feature and looks fantastic, particularly at night. Guests to my apartment are fascinated that the fireplace doesn't require a flue for ventilation," Lynn says. To integrate the fireplace into her home, Lynn designed a multi-tasked joinery unit which includes open shelves for books and lighted compartments to house her glass art collection and accessories.
